At about 2am on Saturday (5 Jul), the Canadian sales worker noticed the couple, who had seemingly scaled the monument.

One could be seen lying down while the other leaned over the top of them.
The Italian capital has strict rules in place for tourists to follow, especially when visiting iconic spots such as the Trevi Fountain.
Visitors can face fines of over £200 for just sitting on its walls.
A ban for life and a fine of around £300 can also be enforced for visitors who jump in the fountain.
“Nobody said they were offended but the couple didn’t receive any good looks,” Devin told Need To Know.
“At first when I saw them I didn’t really think anything of it, until it didn’t stop and they started really getting into it.
“They just kept kissing after and started actually straddling each other.
“They were still going at it by the time I left.
“I was out drinking with my brother and we decided to go see the Trevi Fountain because it wasn’t far and figured it wouldn’t be busy…well it was.”
Members of the public were left shocked by the footage.
Kalli Michailidou said: “Oh no la Policia is coming.”

Merino said: “It doesn’t look good what they are doing.”
Another said: “F*cking tourists.”
One other said: “I don’t even want to imagine what they were doing.”
