A mum has revealed how, after going from a 32H to 32C, she still has to deal with creeps staring at her on a daily basis.
Most people would think that a breast reduction would make life easier – but not for Tracy Kiss.
The 36-year-old from Buckinghamshire says the surgery hasn’t stopped men and ‘Karens’ from commenting or staring at her body.
The mum, who is quite tall at 5ft 8in and also has 80 tattoos, is tired of feeling unsafe when she leaves the house.
“The judgment that I receive from others for having a large cleavage has certainly reduced following my breast reduction surgery – but it wasn’t removed entirely as I was expecting it to,” Tracy, who has 1.2 million Instagram followers, told Need To Know.
“I still have a full bust, rather than being so obviously top-heavy.
“My bust is now far more in keeping with my natural height and body type, which I thought would make wearing swimwear in summer less of an outrageous event.
“But having long legs, an athletic physique and being covered in 80 tattoos are now far more obvious features of mine, since my bust isn’t so instantly eye-catching.
“[Without intending to, I have] swapped one physical target for another for those who love to judge and criticise.
“Once I was at the skate park with my son and daughter [aged 17 and 12] and we were having ice cream.
“I got a coffee and the other mums with their children at the table beside ours made it clear [how they felt] by falling silent and looking over at me when I was in a vest and jeans during the heatwave.
“I guess it’s better than whispers, but you still feel the atmosphere.”
Tracy paid £4,00 to undergo her reduction in Turkey.
Tracy said: “Even if you were to be the most beautiful and perfect person on Earth, if it’s not one feature to pick fault with, then it will be another.
“Because people simply love to hate on others when they are unhappy in themselves.
“You can’t please all of the people all of the time, so don’t even bother trying.
“I love having a smaller bust now as it makes all aspects of my life so much more comfortable and convenient, from running on a treadmill to finding the perfect cocktail dress.
“But if you ask Karen at the school gates what her thoughts are on my appearance, I’m sure she’ll still give you a list of insults as long as her arm as to what she finds inappropriate about me.
“So I’ll spend my time and energy on doing the things that I love instead – with the people who are at ease in their own skin, in the places where people do not judge me or feel threatened by my existence.”
