The couple, who married in 2016, share a nine-year-old son, Ellia van der Horst-Perez, as reported by Need To Know.
In a statement released to the media, Perez’s management said, “This morning, Wouter was struck by a brain aneurysm at home. He was subsequently admitted to the hospital, where he sadly passed away later today.”

“This is obviously a huge blow for Belle, their nine-year-old son, and their family. We ask that they be given the space to process this death in peace and tranquillity.”
Perez, who rose to fame as a pop singer in the late 1990s and has enjoyed a long music career, has not yet spoken publicly about the loss.
