She added: “We drifted apart at 17, reunited at 19, and I lost you at 20.
“Thank you for showing me what love is.”
Thauan drowned while swimming with his 10-year-old nephew in Praia Grande near São Paulo, Brazil, on Friday (2 Jan).

The young boy was rescued from the water and remains hospitalised in a serious condition.
It took the authorities 90 minutes to locate Thauan’s body in the sea, as reported by Need To Know.
He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Nicole called Thauan a “street kid” who loved to party.
She added: “After we got back together, you changed – you became more family-oriented, you only went out if it was with me, and that brought peace to your mother.”

The couple had been talking about getting married before Thauan’s untimely passing.
But Nicole also revealed that Thauan had predicted that he would suffer an untimely death.
She said: “You always knew you were going to leave early.
“I just came back into your life and you’re talking about these things about dying.
“I don’t like that.”
She also shared images of a chat they had about their marriage plans, when Thauan asked: “But will I still be alive?”
She replied at the time: “Why wouldn’t you be?”
“Life is short, baby,” he said.
“But not that short, haha. You’re only 19.”

He responded: “But who knows? My friend was run over when he was 18, coming home from work.”
He also said in a separate chat: “I feel like I’m not on this earth for long.
“I don’t know, crazy thought.”
Nicole said: “He was trying to prepare me, but I never paid attention.”
Thauan’s funeral took place at the Vila Formosa Cemetery in São Paulo on Sunday (4 Jan).
