A streamer has died while tackling a live challenge involving cocaine and alcohol for a private group of paying viewers.
Sergio Jiménez Ramos was found kneeling in his bedroom in the early hours of Wednesday (31 Dec), unresponsive and cold to the touch.
His body was rigid, with his head resting on the mattress and one hand clenched around his phone.

His mother and brother discovered an “almost empty bottle of whisky, two cans of energy drink and a pile of cocaine on a red tray” in the room.
They reportedly heard webcam viewers asking: “Are you crashing yet, Sergio? You still haven’t finished the bottle of whisky?”
Paramedics were called to the family home in Vilanova i la Geltrú, near Barcelona, where Sergio, 37, was pronounced dead.

Investigators believe he died during a private video call watched by donors who had paid to see him consume a bottle of whisky and six grams of cocaine in under three hours.
Sergio had previously been banned from public streaming platforms including Kick, DLive and Pump for breaching policies on drug use.
In October, he began appearing in live streams and private video calls run by streamer Simón Pérez Golarons, known online for extreme “cyber-begging” challenges.

Simón said of Sergio: “He came here, saw what was going on, and set up his own group.”
Speaking about the night Sergio died, he said: “I was told he took six grams in three hours – and a two-gram line.”
Simón has denied any responsibility for Sergio’s death, as reported by Need To Know.
He added: “I told him several times that two grams was an overdose – it’s medically established.
“I told him not to stream, to leave Telegram, that it was rubbish and that he was going to end badly. I’m not to blame.”
Sergio was receiving psychiatric treatment and had a history of substance abuse. His family is now demanding justice.
Police are attempting to trace donations made to Sergio’s account and identify those involved.
Friends Jesús and Vicente Paños told local media: “They are scum who take advantage of others. They paid for the cocaine and whisky to make him kill himself.”
