A man on a 5mph scooter has been spotted cautiously cruising down a 50mph road, causing consternation online.
Shocking footage shows cars zooming past the scooter-riding man, as he slowly makes his way up the left lane.
The rider looks to be carrying a shopping bag with minimal protective gear on.

The footage was posted online Tuesday (10 Feb), racking up a whopping 13,000 views in just 24 hours.
It was captured on the A406 North Circular near South Woodford, East London, as reported by Need To Know.
The passer-by who made the clip stated: “Bruh, how the f* are you going on a scooter, 5mph on the f**** A406 brother.”
In the footage, a black car narrowly avoids the man whilst driving down the 50mph road.
The motor leans into the right lane to get past him.
Other cautious drivers moved over to completely avoid getting anywhere near the scooter.
Members of the public were generally not impressed by such behaviour.
One person said: “On the North Circular, he wilding.”
Another person added: “Idiots are everywhere these days.”
And a third person said: “Stupid.”
But a fourth person noted: “Please bear in mind that unless there are signs prohibiting cyclists, it is perfectly legal for at least cyclists to cycle on A roads and ditto pedestrians to walk.
“Therefore also quite conceivable that (legal) scooterists are permitted to scoot on A roads.
“Drive carefully.”
Another person said: “Saw an E-bike delivery rider on the M4 elevated last week.”
