An actress has died suddenly while riding the bus.
Mariana Pizarro was found by the driver after arriving at the bus terminal at the end of a long-distance trip.
He thought the 55-year-old was asleep, but called the emergency services when she remained unresponsive.

Paramedics on the scene confirmed she no longer had vital signs, causing shock among those present at the terminal.
She died on the way to Posadas, Argentina, after departing from Buenos Aires over 620 miles away.
The news was confirmed by the Argentine Association of Actors.
A spokesperson said: “With deep sorrow, we bid farewell to actress and teacher Mariana Pizarro.

“Her sudden and unexpected departure has deeply impacted us.
“We send our condolences to her family and loved ones at this painful time.”
According to preliminary reports, Mariana’s passing was due to natural causes and no injuries or signs of violence were found.
The authorities are waiting for the results of forensic and toxicological tests to establish her exact cause of death.
Mariana was a prominent theatre actress, teacher, and social activist who studied at the National School of Dramatic Art in Buenos Aires.

She taught and coordinated theatre productions at the National University of Misiones.
Mariana, who was also a feminist and human rights activist, founded the Open School Theatre in Mexico, as reported by Need To Know.
Her cultural work was held in high esteem in both Argentina and Mexico.
The investigation into her sudden passing is ongoing.
