A former beauty queen who documented her cancer journey to thousands of followers has died aged 51.
Actress and former Miss Hong Kong Natalie Ng Man-yan passed away peacefully in her sleep on Tuesday (9 June) after a prolonged battle with breast cancer, her family confirmed.
Ng, who had more than 15,000 followers on Instagram, first revealed she had been diagnosed with breast cancer two years ago and regularly updated supporters on her treatment and recovery journey.

In a statement shared on her social media pages, her family said she died in hospital after being surrounded by loved ones in her final days.
The post read: “Nat passed away peacefully in a hospital sleep this morning.”
Family members said relatives and close friends had been able to visit her before her death and that she received spiritual support from a priest.
They described her as having remained “strong and brave” throughout her illness.
The tribute added: “On this anti-cancer road, [she] has been strong and brave.
“In a limited time, [she] did a lot of things she did not think of, realised a lot of dreams, and at the same time her positive energy has also infected many fellow travellers to face the disease together.”
Ng had continued sharing updates with followers throughout her treatment, as reported by Need To Know.
In April, she revealed medication had left her feeling unwell but said she had still managed to enjoy an evening at a concert that brought back memories from her teenage years.
According to local reports, her condition later worsened after she developed pneumonia and fluid accumulated in her chest cavity, forcing doctors to suspend chemotherapy treatment.
Her family said she was able to say goodbye to her two daughters before her death.
They added that the girls would continue to be cared for by their father, Ng’s ex-husband.
The family thanked supporters for their kindness and asked for privacy as they made funeral arrangements.
They concluded: “Nat Nat will always be our pride and we are so proud of her.”
Tributes quickly poured in beneath the announcement.
TV personality Kayee Chau wrote: “Thank you for sharing all the time and wish you no more pain Rest in peace.”
Actress Jennifer Yu added: “RIP your positive energy, your strong influence on so many people on the left, NatNat always will.”
Funeral details are expected to be announced at a later date.
