A struggling mum has raked in £50,000 from selling tights on OnlyFans.
Lizzy Groombridge, 27, from Camborne, Cornwall, has made almost double the average UK wage by flogging her used patterned tights on the adult content site.
The 6ft 3in mum-of-three began selling her niche products 18 months ago when she was struggling for money during the pandemic and now, with cost of living rising, is sharing her story for others in need of fast cash.
Demand for her unique product is very high – so much so, Lizzy has to take weekly trips to Primark and other supermarkets to get more XL tights for her 39-inch legs.
She then flogs these at £45 a pop.
“I enjoy it and I don’t care what others think. Their opinions don’t pay my bills”, Lizzy told Jam Press.
“The idea came about when people started approaching me on TikTok.
“I do a lot of videos relating to my height and I wear tights in them. I had people messaging me asking if they could buy them from me.
“I’m reliant on myself I thought I’d run with the idea and see how it went.”
The mum’s unique venture has even made her a local celebrity with people frequently recognising her on the street.
She also has a horde of fans online, having hit over 733,000 followers on her TikTok (@lizzylonglegs).
Lizzy is now so popular she can sell around 10 pairs of tights in 14 days.
Having recently had breast enhancement surgery, she is hoping that will number will go up even higher very soon.
She said: “In the space of a fortnight I sell around 10 but it can vary.
“It’s opened my eyes up to areas of desires I never knew existed but I’m open-minded.”
However, looking after three children while creating content can be tough.
She added: “I’m a mum and supporting three children isn’t easy.
“I’ve no one I can really turn to.
“I do enjoy it [OnlyFans], however it has its hard moments.
“I’m only human I become overwhelmed with requests or I have days where I have personal hang-ups but I use my platforms to push me and give me more confidence, but also show others that you can go from the ground up.
“I’m showing others you can reach your dreams and take risks because you only live once and it’s worth it.
“I only want to be able to provide for my kids and let’s face it where am I going to have the same opportunity to make money.
“This is my full time job now and I’m hoping to get in the top 0% of TikTok accounts now that I’ve had my boob job.
“I’m making a separate page to help other women get started and how to promote [their pages] etc, as I get a lot of people turn to me asking how I’ve done it and grown so quickly.
“So I can help others gain more financial control of their lives too.”
