A super-fit gran who hit the headlines for revealing she is regularly asked out by men half her age has shared the bizarre diet that keeps her looking young and it’s not for the faint-hearted.
Andrea Sunshine, 53, from London, is a bodybuilder who hits the gym at least three hours every day but she’s equally dedicated to her diet – which sees her consume a staggering amount of eggs.
The single grandmother-of-two consumes 150 eggs per month, as well as up to 22lbs of sweet potato.
She also loves salads and vegetables, especially broccoli.
“The number [of eggs] is surprising but it’s real,” she told Jam Press.
“I train a lot every day and my diet is monitored by a nutritionist.
“The ideal is to always seek to improve, so some sacrifices are worth it.”

Eggs are very popular among people who want to build muscle, with an average egg containing 13 grams of protein – an essential nutrient if you’re looking to bulk up.
As she works out so often, Andrea also needs to consume a high amount of calories daily – upwards of 3,500 a day spread into six to eight meals.
The standard recommended intake is around 2,000 calories for a grown woman, however it can depend on many factors including age, how often you work out/how active you are, illness etc.
The super fit gran said: “I love working out and doing physical exercises, taking care of myself is an act of love that I learned over time and that’s why I plan my food, take care of what I eat and avoid fats and sweets whenever I can.”

Eating a lot of eggs seems to be working for Andrea, who has a horde of fans online – with younger men frequently asking her out.
The fitness influencer, who has 53,000 followers on social media (@andrea__sunshinee), said: “People call me a beast.
“Young men have a crush on good-looking mature ladies so I get hit on all the time.
“There’s all kind of ages, there’s even some below 25 but most are between 30-35.
“I don’t like the attention. When I am on my session I hate to be disturbed.
“It doesn’t bother me to be called a fitness grandma – I am in my best shape and infinitely healthy.
“There is a stigma that with advancing age of women, they should only dedicate themselves to taking care of the home and family.
“It’s possible to do both.”
