This is possibly the worlds first suspension parasail.
Lily Lu and his friends are taking parasailing to another extreme by attaching their parachute to metal hooks fastened into the skin on their back.
The footage, filmed in Thailand and posted on Lily Lu youtube channel, shows Lily Lu and their friend Lutzi piercing hooks into their backs on a beach.
The video continues to show Lily on a boat clipping the parachute to the hooks in their back and floating away with the wind.
The video was posted to lily’s YouTube channel where they have over 11,000 subscribers.
Underneath the footage, Lily described what the viewers will see in the 23 minute-long video.
They said: “That (parasailing) means nothing else than flying on a parachute behind a speed boat on the ocean.
“But the little difference is that we suspend on hooks in our skin instead of a harness.
“This is a much more adventure side of the body suspension ritual and we a simple hook in our skin to fly”
“This is probably much more a sort of extreme sport and this episode is a little sneak in the world of HOOK LIFE”
“What is planned to be my docu-series about rituals like this?”
“Hopefully one day I can realise this dream and with it a lot more rituals like this.”
At the beginning of the video, Lily explained why they attempted to do this in the first place.
They said: “For a lot of you, you think like this is crazy. For us this is fun, this is adrenaline, this is the next challenge, this is something very beautiful to do.”
The footage was filmed at the popular backpacker’s destination Koh Samui in Thailand.
Lily Lu has given up their gender to live an alternative life, is married and is from Germany.
