A woman has gone viral after revealing how she found out her dad and best friend slept together.
Autumn Ankerich, 21, a stay-at-home mum from Oklahoma, US, was on holiday to see her dad, along with her best friend, when she came across something rather disturbing in his car.
She spotted a used condom wrapper on the floor, which she believed was from the night before – and much to her horror, recalled that her father had only been them that night.
As she confronted her friend, she was told that they just “made out” – but she soon admitted that they had sex.
“I asked her why there was a condom wrapper on the seat and she told me she thought it was a dream,” Autumn told Jam Press.
“I was pregnant at the time, so that’s why I wasn’t partying with her.
“She said that because I didn’t want to do anything, like drink with her, [I forced her to do it].
“We fell out the next day and she left me on the beach for another guy who was twice her age and I never saw her again after that.
“She posted on Instagram a few weeks later, bragging about sleeping with my dad, but that was it.”
Autumn shared her ordeal online, where she has received 1.7 million views and over 208,000 likes on TikTok.
In the clip, she is shown with her hand over her face, along with the caption: “Thinking about the time on vacation I found a condom wrapper in my dad’s truck from the night before but he was only with me and ‘bff’ that night.” [sic]
She then proceeds to lip sync: ‘I wish I had a time machine.’
Users were outraged by the scandalous tale.
“So she was calling him daddy too?” one viewer commented.
Another person added: “Emotional damage.”
“How’d you know it was from the night before,” someone else wrote. [sic]
One person said: “I mean at least he used protection.”
“NOOO,” another viewer commented. [sic]
Despite Autumn’s shock, there were a few warning signs from the night before which had made her suspicious.
She said: “My friend was flirting with my dad and he was flirting back, so I went to the room as it made me uncomfortable.
“I’ve always had a weird relationship with my dad and we only ever saw each other in the summer.
“I used to be a ‘daddy’s girl’ but as I got older and smarter, we grew apart because I realised he wasn’t normal.
“I confronted both of them and we don’t really have a relationship now…
“I’ll be hesitant to introduce my friends to him – although I don’t believe the friends I have now would ever do anything like this to me.”
