A dad-of-one who had his ears stretched to the shape of “Swiss cheese” has shared how people think he’s not “fit” to be a father due to his irreversible body modifications.

Remy, a tattoo fanatic from Canada, regularly hits the headlines thanks to his controversial look, which has seen him ink his entire body black.

In addition to his tattoos, which include a huge mouth with teeth on his stomach alongside various holes, the dad-of-one has also modified his ears alongside stretching his bottom lip.

Overall, he’s spent £87,000 on tattoos and piercings to date and while he loves his look, many have commented that he’s not “fit” to be a dad to his son, Ivan, 13.

“I’ve had a few people say things like my son should be taken from me because of how I look but this is only ever online,” Remy told Jam Press.

“My argument to that would be that if you think that way, you should never have children yourself.

“People stare a bit [in public] but they only say nice things and ask how long it took, how I handle the pain and generally compliment my work.”

The dad had his first tattoo of his son’s name and since then has become obsessed, with the most painful ink to date on the inside of his bum.

He said: “I wasn’t concerned at all about my son [reacting] as tattoos and piercings don’t change anything.

“He’s never really ‘noticed’ them as I was already pretty different looking [when he was born in 2009] – it’s completely normal for him.

“As he’s gotten older, he’s become very nonchalant and it’s actually made him more tolerant of people being different looking I believe.

“His favourite tattoo [of mine] is the eye on my stomach and chest.”

Remy’s wife, Sarah, also loves her husband’s unique look, with the pair quickly falling in love after meeting in 2016.

The body modification addict has been a cook for 20 years, alongside running his own kitchen and tattoo shop, and says that his son’s friends are excited to meet him because of his ink.

They think of him as a “small town celebrity” and the dad believes that Ivan might follow in his footsteps by getting tattoos of his own.

Remy added: “My son will likely get some tattoos [in the future] but not as many as me.”
