A couple held a second wedding ceremony at a care home so the bride’s grandmother could attend.
Emma and Charlie Morgan, both 27, from the Forest of Dean, Gloucestershire, became man and wife after tying the knot in May.
But there was one notable absence amongst the guests: Dorothy Smith.

Keen to have her grandmother attend her big day, Emma arranged for a second ceremony to be held at Mount Tryon Care Home the following month, so Dorothy could see her walk down the aisle.
The nursing home arranged for five family members and a handful of staff to attend the big day, keeping the guest list small so as not to overwhelm Dorothy.
After the ‘I Do’s’, Dorothy joined the newlyweds for a slice of walnut and coffee cake.

“There were tears of joy all round,” Adele Beaton, home service advisor, told NeedToKnow.online
“The ceremony was one of the most joyous occasions ever experienced and the joy on Dorothy’s face when she saw Emma said it all.
“She was a picture of happiness.
“The home were super supportive going above and beyond to make the day special.”
The nursing home, in Torquay, Cornwall, uploaded photos of the happy day on its Facebook page.
The caption read: “We would like to say a huge thank you to all the staff at Mount Tryon Care Home for hosting our 2nd wedding this weekend.
“The staff went above and beyond to organise a perfect day and my Nan didn’t stop smiling the whole time.

“A big thank you to Sue (Head Chef) for organising a buffet and the best walnut and coffee cake we have ever tasted!
“We felt so welcomed into the home and can see the awesome care that is provided at Mount Tryon.”
Social media users were quick to congratulate the couple.
One Facebook user said: “Beautiful photo. Tears of joy xx.”
Another person said: “Oh this is so lovely! congratulations Xx.”
