Calling all Barbies (and Kens): there’s a new restaurant in town offering sublime dishes – from rainbow pancakes to chocolate bacon.
Inspired by the new hit blockbuster, the ultra-pink restaurant has everything needed to fuel up for a fun-filled day in Barbie-land.
Located in the W Hotel, Mexico City, the ‘It’s a Barbie World!” restaurant is time-limited and will close on 20 August 2023.

Inside, the area is decked out with luminous LED signs, humungous features of the letter ‘B’, movie posters, and the opportunity to become a Barbie-in-a-box with life-size doll box structures.
On the menu, there are irresistible options such as a breakfast burrito, rainbow pancakes, and the “make waves” salmon toast – akin to Barbie and Ken’s trip to the “Real World.”

For lunch, indulge in grilled cheese, a shine quesadilla, and their famous candied bacon, which is bathed in a mixture of white and dark chocolate.
Other items include the “Real World” macaroni and cheese, the Venice Beach pizza, and the “Best Hot Dog Ever.”

There are even options for those on the “Stereotypical Barbie” diet, with a party salad made up of burrata, spinach, cherry tomatoes, and a house dressing.
And for something sweet, like the doll herself, there are pink macaroons, raspberry cheesecake, and Malibu Beach ice creams.

The movie, which was released on 21 July 2023, has already made history with the biggest opening weekend for a debut film directed by a woman.
Greta Gerwig’s creativity has spread across the globe and created a serious case of “Barbie Fever” – and a special new love for the discontinued doll, Alan.

If you and other Barbies are ready to live a life of perfection and female empowerment, then here’s your chance.
Prices range from 695 (Peso) (£32) to 850 (Peso) (£39) for their delicious dishes – and of course, the coolest experience ever.
