A pet owner pregnant at the same time as her dog has gone viral sharing the moment they had a ‘joint’ ultrasound.
Elina Purhonen, 31, and Cockapoo pooch Kikka’s pregnancies coincided this year, something the owner describes as “amazing”.
The duo has left TikTok users in tears after Elina, who is six months pregnant, shared a video of the day they both had ultrasounds – with the clip garnering two million views and 490,000 likes.
“It felt amazing to be pregnant at the same time – it’s like we could truly understand eachother,” Elina, a duty manager from Helsinki, Finland, told NeedToKnow.co.uk.
“The best part was how I could feel the puppies moving in her belly at the same time my baby was kicking in my belly.
“We had my ultrasound first, where we saw our baby girl, and right after that we had Kikka’s X-ray, where we found out that there are eight little ones in her belly.”
