A cute puppy has been saved after spending eight hours trapped in the sewer.
The baby dog – named Pipa – emerged looking a bit soggy.
A litter of pups was playing in the front garden of their owner’s home when three fell into the cleanout valve connected to the main sewer line.
The owners contacted the fire brigade who were able to pull two puppies to safety.

However, they were unable to reach the third pooch and had to call in a team from the San Antonio Water System, in Texas, US.
After an eight-hour operation, SAWS workers were able to rescue the puppy from the sewer.
Officials said Pipa had to be gently nudged along the pipe with their camera equipment.
The dog was nudged 10 feet at a time along a 200-foot-long route.

Workers at the San Antonio Animal Care Services took Pipa to a local vet for checks before returning her to her worried owners.
SAWS officials reminded residents to make sure their cleanout sewer valves are properly covered.
One local commented: “Heroes.”
Another said: “Yay for SAWS! Thank you, poor little guy.”
