A dog has won the hearts of the internet after his mum took him to see the Christmas lights, with people falling in love with his adorable reaction.

Marisol Rodriguez decided to take Cobra the Pitbull on a drive to see the local lights, with the one-year-old pup loving the show.

Donning a festive onesie, the pooch excitedly sits in the passenger seat, wagging his tail and sticking his head out the window as they pass by the displays.

Marisol shared a clip on TikTok (@lifewithpitbullstx ), where it has quickly gained over 8.7m views and 1.7m likes.

“I had brought him [to see the lights] at five months old and he really loved it so I wanted to bring him again and have him experience it for a second time,” the 27-year-old, from Texas, told NeedToKnow.

“Cobra loved it, we drove around a few times and even got off to enjoy it up close.

“I just wanted people to see that it’s something you can do to bring your pups out during the holiday season.

“They only live a short life and it’s on us to make each day count.”

Having previously brought her other pitbulls Nova, five, Luna, nine, and Cream, 10, she knew Cobra would love the display.

“Take that walk- give them the extra treat- take them to see the lights.

“Create core memories with your furry besties.”

Posting Cobra’s drive on TikTok, people fell in love with the pup, with over 8,300 people commenting on the clip.

Kirstyn commented: “IN HIS CHRISTMAS JAMMIES.”
