An author has claimed Simon Cowell secured her a book deal – by appearing in her dream and telling her the plot.
Lisa Brace penned it as her debut novel called Star Survivor.
It is set to hit the shelves of Waterstones and Amazon in March.
The novel follows four fictional celebrities who agree to take part in a high end reality show for cash.
But, Lisa says the idea came to her in the form of a dream where she met the former X Factor supremo on a beach.
Lisa said: ”I had quite a few G&Ts whilst I watched Hunger Games.

”When I went to bed, I had a lucid dream.
”In the dream, I was sitting on this beautiful pristine white sand on the beach.
”He had his jeans rolled up and wore a black T-shirt but he had bare feet.
”We were drinking cocktails together – old-school blue lagoon type drinks out of coconuts.
”He suddenly told me the plot for the book.
”He’s like my spirit guide for the novel.
”When I woke up, I told my husband and he said I needed to write it down straight away so I did.”
Lisa, of Horsham, West Sussex says the TV mogul not only told her the plot of the book in the dream, but he also gave her advice on the characters.
According to the 42-year-old, the dream-version of Simon Cowell even gave her the idea for the novel’s big plot twist.
Lisa added: ”He said that it would be good if I had a reality show on an island for the plot.
”He told me I would need one man and three women for the main characters – all different ages.
”What he said was like a structural guide.
”The way I write novels, I typically steer readers one way , then switch it up somewhere else.
”But I wanted a particular route with this book, which I was stumped on.
”When I woke up in the morning it was pretty much fully formed, Simon Cowell is the reason I got this twist.”
Although Simon Cowell appeared in Lisa’s subconscious, she has insisted she has no romantic feelings toward the 64-year-old telly star.
However, she is keen to get in touch with Cowell and share her appreciation for ‘helping’ her secure a book deal.
Lisa said: “I’ve messaged all his social media – I’m a bit concerned that I am coming off as a stalker.
”I’ve shared various shoutouts on different forums in case anyone’s mum is a makeup artist or has any relation to him.
”He’s in the book’s acknowledgement just above my husband – two very important men in my life.”
