A loved up pensioner has got married for the 14th time.
After 13 failed attempts, Sanan Kongsoon hopes his new bride is the one.
The 69-year-old has lived with Somnuek Saengkaew, 56, for over 10 years.
But the OAP groom felt this was the right time to make it official.
Dressed in traditional Thai garb, the couple took part in a special ceremony organised by the Mueang Krabi District Office in southern Thailand’s Krabi Province.
Eleven couples took a trip along the Klonh Root, also known as Clear Water Canal, before signing their marriage certificates on 14 February.
They took part in a street parade before exchanging vows in a kayak on the water at the picturesque tourist spot.
After the event, Sanan told local media that he had previously been hitched 13 times before.
As yesterday (14 Feb) was his birthday as well as Valentine’s Day, he felt the stars had aligned to formalise his relationship with Somnuek
