A man was filmed legging it from his campervan in the nick of time as a train smashed it to pieces on a rail crossing.
The motorhome ground to a halt on the tracks after breaking down.
The driver tried in vain to restart it but had to flee harm’s way after hearing a train hurtling towards him.
He waved his hands at the oncoming freight train in a bid to get it to stop on Tuesday (5 Mar) morning.

But the train driver had no time to slam on the brakes and could only sound the horn seconds before the impact.
The man jogged out of the way as the train smashed his motorhome to pieces and flung it from the tracks.
The local business owner who filmed the drama could be heard exclaiming, “Oh my God” as the train thumped the camper.
Debris from the smashed vehicle was left strewn for yards, but luckily no one was injured in Langley, near Vancouver, Canada.
Officers were dispatched to the scene and closed the crossing so the debris could be cleared.
Part of the street was closed for several hours as the clean-up took place.
It’s not clear why the motorhome broke down or if its owner is covered by insurance.
