A search team followed the pilot’s instructions and later found Daniela’s body in a densely forested area in Calarcá, located about 100 miles west of the Colombian capital, Bogotá.

Calarcá Fire Department spokesperson, Captain Javier Arconde Rodríguez said: “Apparently the young woman slipped from the co-pilot seat.
“The pilot had to continue on his route as he had no way of stopping.”
It is still unclear what caused Daniela to fall from her seat.
The 27-year-old victim’s body was retrieved from the area and sent to a local morgue to undergo an autopsy.

Moments before the tragedy, she posted on social media: “They are accompanying me on my crazy ideas.
“We are going to overcome our fears.”
Daniela leaves behind a seven-year-old son.
Before her untimely death, she studied fashion design at university and ran her own lingerie business.
The investigation into her death is ongoing.
Calarcá council spokesperson, Mario Augusto Castaño said: “There will not be an official report on the incident until the judicial proceedings are carried out.”
