A young mum has been found dead with gunshot wounds to the head in a suspected murder over Easter weekend.
Beatriz Ribeiro Rocha Freitas, 25, was discovered in her home on Good Friday (29 March).
Her husband, identified as forty-four-year-old Fernando Rodrigues da Silva by local press, has been named as the prime suspect and is believed to be on the run.

The victim’s body was reportedly found by her sister-in-law, not named, who went to the couple’s home after being unable to reach Freitas.
The property had been left unlocked with the air conditioning still on, as reported by Need To Know.
Upon the gruesome discovery in Bálsamo, São Paulo, Brazil, the sister-in-law alerted the authorities.
A witness – who has not been named but is said to be a friend of Silva’s – claimed the suspect told her he had argued with his wife, who subsequently kicked him out of the house.
The friend met up with Silva, before parting ways before midnight, leaving him at a highway where he said he was going to meet up with a truck driver for work.
Silva apparently also told the witness to look after his two-year-old son, who he shared with Freitas.
A friend of the victim told local press that the wife had been planning to separate from her partner for some time.
The pair are believed to have met five years ago, with Freitas moving from Praia Grande to Bálsamo to be with Silva.
But she had reportedly been planning to move back to her home town, having already “boxed up” her and her son’s belongings.
Freitas’ devastated mother, Cleidilene Pereira Rocha, told the local press she had located a flat for her daughter.
She added: “I don’t know what I do with my life, I won’t survive and I just want justice I just want them to catch the person who did this to my daughter and I want my grandson.”
The burial will take place in Praia Grande but no date has been announced yet.
Silva remains on the run and is considered a fugitive by police.
