With tourists complaining about the ticket pricing and the overcrowded experience, the negative reviews have been piling up.
Depending on the time of year tickets on the website for the Roman Baths, in Bath will vary in price.
Adult tickets cost anywhere from £24.50 to £29 during the weekend.

Taking to TripAdvisor to voice his frustration, one visitor called Adam said: “I found this attraction to be very expensive.
“I understand an upkeep is needed to the baths but please don’t put donation boxes around asking for even more money for the upkeep of the baths, bit cheeky no?
“Also it was hard to even get tickets, you have to mess about booking online with your card to even get tickets, why can’t we just go in and buy some?
“Staff are nice but for £50 for two people I find it a total rip-off.
“I found the attraction very boring.
“Sorry, my wife liked it though, so every cloud eh.”
Another tourist Zeyne Brown left an angry review, as reported by Need To Know.
She said: “What is the point of booking a time slot and paying a substantial amount when you can’t get near anything as it is absolutely heaving?

“It was so crowded that could only be described as unsafe and thoughtless.
“We didn’t enjoy it one bit as it was impossible to take in.
“The site itself is interesting but I truly didn’t see the point of paying so much money just to get squashed around.
“Truly suffered to get out as quickly as possible.
“Looking at the photos would have been better after all.”
A couple who visited the landmark stated: “Going to give this only two stars.
“Which is disappointing.“We were in Bristol visiting a friend and decided to head to Bath on Sunday.
“I saw the Roman Baths online and thought they looked good.
“The place itself was nice but we paid £49 for just two people.
“I feel it definitely wasn’t worth that price.
“The place felt very overcrowded, and found it a bit much that there were donation boxes scattered everywhere asking for £5 after being charged a fortune.”
Yet Karonius liked it.She said: “Beautiful, fascinating, and way bigger than you think it’s going to be.”
