A mobile home owner is renting out his parked van for £500 a month – with tenants having to sleep on a table.
But that’s just one of the many strange features.
Pitched up by the seaside in Seaford, East Sussex, the location is probably the most desirable part of this listing.
The Fiat Ducato motorhome is suitable for one person but the cramped campervan requires tenants to go through the daily effort of switching the dining table into their sleeping quarters.
If the table-task proves too difficult after tea, there is the option of clambering up into the other tiny single bed above the driver’s seat.
With no electricity, tenants will need to bring their own power bank to charge their phones, laptops and the LED lights, as reported by Need To Know.
The owner has offered to provide one but it will need to be charged via mains when it runs out.
You must also be into cold showers, as the motorhome comes with no hot water.
The kitchen area consists of an oven and two gas hobs with the owner providing as many gas canisters as you will need – though there’s no fridge.
Despite the attraction of a mobile home, tenants will also not be able to drive the property, with the landlord stating it will be parked for the duration of their stay.
On the upside, the home is equipped with a 20L camping toilet with tenants having the luxury of getting this emptied every two weeks.
And you’ll have to organise and pay for it yourself.
The owner described the vehicle – which can be rented weekly or monthly – as “ideal” and in a “lovely location”.
The property does come with sheets, bedding, a pan and utensils, as well as toilet roll, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, tea and coffee.
