Three men miraculously survived a dramatic bin lorry crash with the horror moment captured on CCTV.
Footage captured the fast-moving vehicle as it began tilting on a tight curve in the road on Saturday (20 April).
The video shows the lorry’s wheels lifting on one side before it veers into the central reservation.
One man is thrown through the shattered windscreen before picking himself up.
Two others are later seen jumping off the back of the vehicle and emerging through a broken window.
All three were taken to hospital from the scene in Rio Branco, southwest of Manaus, Brazil.
Despite the severity of the crash, they have already been discharged, as reported on Need To Know.
Local official Wellington Chaves explained: “There was a parked car which the driver swerved to avoid but because it was a heavy lorry, he couldn’t manage to avoid it and ended up overturning during the manoeuvre.”
He said the company responsible for waste collection in the city would arrange for the crashed lorry to be removed from the scene.
An investigation will be carried out which will determine a number of factors, including if the driver was breaking the speed limit.
