A luxurious waterfront mansion has hit the market, potentially setting a new record as Australia’s most expensive property sold.

This stunning residence, dubbed “one of the world’s most significant homes,” boasts a prime location overlooking the Sydney Opera House and Harbour Bridge.

Its design, featuring multiple levels and expansive glass panels, prioritizes breathtaking views from every room.

Crafted under the guidance of renowned architect Alec Tzannes over eight years, “Wingadal” spans 2,676sqm of land and boasts 98m of harbor frontage, catering to those with discerning tastes, reports Need To Know.

In 2022, IT billionaire Scott Farquhar set a record by selling his property, Uig Lodge, for $130 million AUD, making it the most expensive home sold in the country at the time.

However, this mansion, listed by Forbes Global Properties, is anticipated to fetch over $200 million AUD (£105 million), residing in the exclusive Point Piper on Wolseley Road, making it a landmark property in Australian real estate history.
