Prospective renters have been left horrified by the latest offering to raise eyebrows online – a “shed” in a garden in Bristol.
Pictures of the listing online show a rustic-looking wooden “cabin” with green doors and window frames, and a small lantern to keep it lit at night.
Inside, it has a has a single bed, with a small living area comprised of a single chair and a TV stand.

Further down the shed is a kitchen, fitted with a hob, washing machine, sink, microwave and cabinet space.
The cabin – which is in the Filton area of Bristol – also has its own bathroom, quipped with shower, toilet and basin.
Despite the rather humble set-up, the property has been priced at £1,100 per month – though this does include bills.
Comparatively, there are two one bedroom flats currently for sale in the same postcode for £1,150 and £995 respectively – both of which appear to be significantly larger.
The listing, which features on Need To Know, describes the property: “A cosy cabin set up in a lovely wild garden.
“Single occupancy, pets welcomed.”
It notes that the tenant will have access to the garden as well as parking space.
The listing was shared on social media, where viewers were quick to criticise it.
One person commented: “Not merely a shed, but a grimy s**thole of a shed.”
“I don’t want to live in a shed,” another person agreed.
Someone else added: “Delusional landlord.”
“It looks like access is by walking through the owner’s garage,” another viewer pointed out.
“Unkempt messy garden. I’ve seen sheds to rent on here before but they had at least looked like they’d tried,” said another critic.
Another user called it a “cosy cabin”, to which someone else replied: “Set up in a lovely wild garden.”
The property is currently available on Rightmove and OpenRent for £1,100 per month, plus a deposit of £508.
