Halfway along the route, Rokvić filmed himself being attacked by a pack of wild dogs on 16 May.
He posted footage of the terrifying scenes on Instagram for his 257,000 followers, as reported by Need To Know.
Rokvić said: “In the middle of the wilderness, where no one was around for miles, I encountered a pack of stray dogs.
“On this road, I’ve met dogs every day.
“I’m used to some barking at me because of my backpack and hiking sticks, but most of them are friendly when they follow me for miles.
“This was different, I knew at the very start they weren’t friendly.
“One female showed her teeth to me after I passed her, and then she started attacking me.
“The other dogs followed.
“I tried to defend myself with my hiking sticks, but they wouldn’t give up.
“After a moment, I thought I would jump at them while snarling and growling at them, thinking it would scare them.
“But their anger got bigger and bigger.”
He added: “In that moment, the fight for my life literally began.”
The Serbian singer explained: “They attacked me from all sides, but luckily they weren’t able to get behind me.

“Somehow I managed to stop six or seven of them with my sticks.
“The female with the crooked teeth was the most aggressive.
“The attack lasted a few minutes.
“At one point I said ‘it’s over, they’re going to eat me’.”
Rokvić said he decided to change tact and show the wild animals his respect.
He explained: “I don’t know where it came from, I just said ‘peace, peace, it’s fine, everything’s fine’.
“I calmly and humbly bowed in front of them and asked for peace.
“In a second, all the dogs lowered their heads and ears at the same time and the attack stopped.
“It was a very scary situation, thank God it went the way it did.”
He added: “New lesson learned, never meet anger with anger… only peace.”
