Kick streamer Natalie Reynolds is under heavy criticism following an incident where she encouraged a woman to jump into a lake, then fled when the woman, unable to swim, cried for help.
The incident happened during a May 29 broadcast, featuring Reynolds and friends participating in a scavenger hunt organized by fellow streamer Ice Poseidon.
The hunt required scanning various RFID tags to win a prize, which Reynolds had promised to give away to her viewers.

As the group approached a lake, a nearby woman offered to join Natalie in the water. Reynolds joked about preferring to “skinny dip” instead. Initially, the woman was enthusiastic. “Yeah, let’s do it,” she said. “Are you really gonna do it? I’ll do it.”
Natalie, instructed by Ice Poseidon to swim, tried to persuade the woman to jump in and find a tag in the water. She even offered $20, promising to join after the woman. The woman, calling Reynolds “gorgeous,” wanted to skinny dip together, but backed down when Reynolds revealed she was just 17.
Despite her discomfort, Reynolds continued to push the woman to jump in. Eventually, the woman agreed, but voiced concerns about drowning since she hadn’t been in water for a long time. She then jumped into the lake headfirst.
This surprised Reynolds, leading to an argument about whether she had coerced the woman. An employee from a nearby boat rental soon approached, informing them that swimming in the lake was illegal, prompting Reynolds to exclaim, “What the f*ck is going on? I thought she was working here or something. …I can’t believe she did that. Is she mentally okay? …I thought she was just trying to have fun. I thought she was drunk or something.”
The situation escalated when the woman began screaming for help, admitting she couldn’t swim and was stuck. “She could literally die,” a friend of Reynolds stated, prompting the streamer to panic and leave the scene. As they drove away, they saw a fire truck, suggesting emergency services were called to assist the woman.
The broadcast has resulted in significant backlash on social media. One user labeled the event as “disgusting,” while another hoped it was scripted. A third comment criticized streaming culture altogether.
Reynolds defended herself on X, stating, “The lady wanted to swim, they told me to leave and stop filming that’s why we left, and she got the help she needed and is fine. Stop dragging sh*t.”
This incident isn’t Reynolds’ first controversy. In 2023, she faced backlash for broadcasting herself spearing a wild boar. In April 2024, she was criticized for catching and sitting on a shark during a live stream, sparking animal abuse claims. Despite these incidents, her channel remains active.
