A hero shopper fended off two suspected crooks who allegedly stole champagne from a Sainsbury’s.
One of the men – in a cap and facemask – had a bottle of bubbly stuffed in his jacket.
The other was clutching two bottles in his hands and a green bag over this shoulder.
They claimed to be homeless despite allegedly stealing the posh booze.

The brave customer put up a fight to try and prevent them from leaving.
A shopping display of confectionery was knocked over in the melee.
The hero bystander – thought to be wearing a blue Chelsea football top – screamed at one of the men: “Put it back.
“Put it back now. Put it back.”
He then addressed both of them and said: “Go on, I’ll do you both.
“Put it back.”
He claimed: “Go on, put it back you thieving c*nts.”
One of the men replies: “It’s got nothing to do with you.
“We are homeless.”
But the angry shopper continues: “Go on I don’t give a f*ck.
“Put it back, put it back
“You fcking cnt, I don’t give a f*ck.”
He alleged: “You won’t nick.”
One of the men replied: “We ain’t got nowhere to live.”
A woman – also shopping at the shop in Stanley Park Road, Carshalton, near Croydon, south London on Monday (3 Jun) evening when up to him.

She said: “Just let them go.”
The man said: “Thieving c*nts” as the pair walked out of the supermarket.
Another shopper filmed the ugly clash on their mobile phone in a 32 second video, as reported on Need To Know.
It comes amid a spike in brazen shoplifting across the country.
Last month thefts were carried out at Greggs in Archway and a Boots in Chingford
Sainsbury’s and the Met Police have been approached for comment.
