Brits have been left blown away by a machine that lets them cook beans on toast – at the same time.
The popular dish took a hit yesterday after losing the title of ‘Europe’s most loved dish’ to the humble kebab.
The disappointing result was announced from a survey of 75,000 people as part of Amazon’s Food Cup videos, with each country from the Euros represented with a country meal.

Despite this harrowing loss to British cooking, there’s still good news on the home front.
Taking to X, Ian Ford expressed his amazement at having discovered an amazing product.
“My toaster packed up this morning so researching alternatives.
“Astonished to find this is a real thing…,” said the joint night editor at The Guardian.
The tweet included an image of the Tefal Toast ‘n’ Egg ‘n’ Beans 2 Slice Toaster, as reported on Need To Know.
The item – which has nearly 600 five-star reviews – has a little pot on the side of the toaster.
Why spend a few extra minutes heating up your beans in a pan or bowl when you can just cook it alongside the bread?
Social media users agree: this is brilliant.“Husband bought me this when we first started dating,” said Caroline.
When asked if that was why she married her hubby, Caroline added: “One of many reasons”.
Completely reasonable, in our opinion.
“This is the sort of thing tech bros should be pushing. Who knew toaster tech had moved so far into the future?,” said Daniel.
David added: “O brave new world, that has such wonders in it!”
“Have it and love it,” Adrian replied in natural British fashion, adding “Does take up a bit of extra space tho.”
Rob, who owns the toaster, shared a tip: “Buy it, but immediately throw away the little rack for ‘warming meats’ because that’s a cursed idea.”
“I used to have one of these. Absolutely brilliant invention. I don’t anymore bc it was far too big to warrant the amount of times I use it,” said a former toaster owner.
Kevin was a bit more pessimistic, saying: “Your scientists were too preoccupied with whether they could…”
“Quite simply. Wow,” said someone else, alongside tagging a friend.
The Tefal two-in-one toaster costs £46 at Argos, though it’s available elsewhere too.
As a bonus, the little pot can also be used to cook an egg, so you could have a partial fry-up at speed, too.
