A speeding driver crashed into a woman sending her flying into the air as she walked along the roadside.
The CCTV clip shows the victim strolling along the side of the busy street.
The driver of a VW apparently loses control of the vehicle and veers directly towards the woman.

She turns around just as the SUV ploughs into her, sending her flying through the air.
The VW then smashes into the front of a local shop.
The video was filmed in the neighbourhood of Wakad in Pimpri-Chinchwad, located close to Pune City in India.
The driver was placed under arrest while the victim was sent to a local hospital for medical checks.
According to local reports, the woman was not seriously injured in the accident and she declined to file a formal complaint against the driver.
As a result, the detained motorist was released by the police.
He currently faces no further punishment despite the severity of the incident, as reported by NeedToKnow.
