A 20-year-old policewoman has died after being swept out to sea while posing for a picture on the water’s edge.
A horrifying clip of the incident shows Aleksandra Oleščuk being knocked over by the force of a wave, skidding along the hard ground and falling off the walkway.
Helpless onlookers watched in shock and terror as she was tossed around in the choppy surf.

According to local media, her body was found on 5 June after a three-day search involving divers, as reported on Need To Know.
The tragedy happened on 2 June in Odesa, Ukraine.
It is believed Aleksandra hit her head as she fell.
The young police officer was from Rivne Province in north-western Ukraine.
She was holidaying in Odesa with friends when the horror unfolded.
Aleksandra lost her father six years ago and her mother when she was 14.
Her closest living relatives were her grandmother and her uncle.
She graduated from the Lviv State University of Internal Affairs in April 2023.
She was undergoing training in Kirovohrad Province at the time of her death.
Aleksandra was laid to rest in the village of Bilov on 7 June.
