A groom-to-be has caught a gigantic hammerhead shark during his bachelor trip.
Bob Takacs and his friends were out fishing to celebrate his upcoming wedding when he made the catch.
They went out with a fishing company called Mark The Shark.
During the excursion, Bob reeled in a 15.5ft hammerhead, weighing over 1,200lbs.
A pictures, which could be seen to be quite disturbing for some viewers, show the shark hanging in the air.
It later transpired that the fish was pregnant – with a photo showing over 20 deceased pups lined up on a dock, as reported by Need To Know.
The owner of Mark The Shark said that the catch is one of the biggest sharks they’ve caught in years.
He added that the meat from the shark will be donated to the homeless, something the company has reportedly been doing for years.
The fish was found in waters by Pompano Beach, Florida, US.
An Instagram post shows a clip of the boat out on the water.
“N DA WIRE !! Googan: ” Are we gonna need a bigger boat?,” the caption reads, referencing the 1975 classic film, Jaws.
Social media users have reacted to the footage online.
“Why do you kill sharks,” asked one person, with an angry face emoji.
“Where is the video of when you bring that poor shark in?,” added someone else.
“That thing was a dinosaur!,” said one person.
The company also shared an image of the shark and asked users to guess how big it was.
“Freaking huge I don’t know 15ft,” said one person.
“Pretty big,” added someone else.
