An alleged bike thief was arrested after being caught by members of the public in the street Kray twins grew up in.
The suspected crook was detained by the group of locals who crowded around him.
Cops were called and then arrested a man.

He’d allegedly attempted to pinch the bicycle in Vallance Road, in between Bethnal Green and Whitechapel, east London.

It was where the notorious East End gangsters Ronnie and Reggie Kray lived in the 1930s as kids.
The arrested man was taken to hospital with minor injuries.
It happened at 8:16pm on Monday (24 Jun), as reported on Need To Know
Local Brian Williams said: “Commendable, very commendable.”
Duncan Ball added: “Good on them, a lot said for a community.”

Spencer Galton said: “The same road the Krays were raised.
“Wouldn’t of happened in their time.”
Margaret Taplin said: “The Krays lived in Vallance Road.
“Wouldn’t have happened when they were there, how times change.”
A Met Police spokesperson said: “Police were called at 8:16pm on Monday, 24 June to reports of a man attempting to steal a bike in Vallance Road, E1.
“Officers attended and found a man had been apprehended by members of the public.
“He was arrested upon officers arrival for theft and taken to hospital for treatment to some minor injuries.”
They added: “We are aware of some footage online showing the group of men grabbing the suspect and it is being reviewed by officers.
“Enquires into this incident are ongoing.”
