A 25-year-old woman has been left in a wheelchair after a nurse gave her a cosmetic procedure in her flat.
Ester Maia Corecha da Silva allegedly went to the nurse’s home for cellulite and abdominal fat reduction.
According to Da Silva, the procedure was performed on a child’s bed.

She also claims the nurse said she was a beautician.
Although she found it strange that the procedure was offered in a private home, Da Silva went ahead with it.
Unfortunately, horror soon unfolded.
Soon after, Da Silva was taken to hospital with inflammation in her buttocks, as reported on Need To Know.
The mum has since been left unable to walk.
She told local media: “In the exams, it shows that this product caused cysts and nodules.
“They’re in my coccyx.
“The doctors said this product can migrate.
“It could even reach my feet.
“I need physiotherapy and treatment so I can walk again to return to my normal life.”
Da Silva’s condition is reportedly so severe that she is unable to look after her autistic daughter and requires help from her mother, Cristiana Maia.
Maia said: “Seeing her [my daughter] in a wheelchair today is very painful.”
Moraes lives in a condo in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

Da Silva recalls having suspicions that something was wrong early on.
She said: “Later that same evening [as I had the procedure]…I told her [the nurse] that the product was leaking, which it was.”
A month has passed since the mum was discharged but she is still in a lot of pain and must use a wheelchair.
The police are investigating the case.
