A fitness model who claims her muscles are so big that she can’t find jeans to fit over her thighs is now ditching the weights to get a more “balanced” figure.
Suzy Cortez is a bodybuilder who is often referred to as the ‘She Hulk’ thanks to her impressive physique.
But the 30-year-old says that the large size of her body, especially her “tree trunk thighs” comes with everyday challenges.

Shopping especially is a struggle and she finds it uncomfortable to fly as well, with the seats barely containing her muscular pins.
“After years of dedication to intense training that shaped my thighs and glutes, I began to realise that my muscular body, although admired by many, also gave me some unusual situations,” Suzy, who has 2.1 million followers (@suzyacortez ), told Need To Know.
“One of the times happened during an economy class flight.
“My muscular legs simply did not fit comfortably in the narrow armchair, resulting in a series of awkward attempts to find a suitable position.
“Another funny moment was when I was trying on jeans in a store.
“My voluminous thighs and large glutes made the task almost impossible, leading to comical scenes in the dressing room.
“The pants just didn’t come past my thighs.
“It was like I was trying to put on a pair of children’s leggings.”
Suzy has also claims that her muscular legs make men intimidated and have stopped her from having sex.
She said: “One man said the size of my legs reminded me of a football player.
“It was kind of embarrassing because we had to stop sex in the middle of the act.”
While she is proud of her body and is not changing it to appeal to any men, the model wants a more “natural” look and “balanced body”.
So she is now ditching the weights.
She said: “I was preparing to compete in a world championship but I realised that this is not what I want for my life.
“This extreme dedication to bodybuilding is not aligned with what I want for my future.
“It’s time to demasculinise my body.
“I want to have more feminine features again, with less muscle.
“The change of perspective was not easy for me, I spent years dedicated to physical improvement and competitions.
“However, my desire now is to focus on a more balanced body.
“I want to feel good about myself, and to do that I need to find a balance.
“I don’t want that excess muscle anymore.”
Suzy also highlighted that this transformation will take time.
Although she has decided to give up competitive bodybuilding, the influencer insists that she will continue to promote a healthy lifestyle.
She added: “It’s not something that happens overnight, but I’m committed to this new phase.
“I’m excited to see the changes and how my body will adapt.
“Health will always be my priority.
“But in a way that makes me happy and satisfied with my body.”
