A pregnant TV actor who is about to pop says she is feeling “huge and achy” after returning from her “babymoon”.
Mae Whitman is the star of hit shows like Parenthood and Good Girls.
The 36-year-old, who announced her pregnancy last month, has also revealed how far along she is.
Sharing details of her recent much-deserved time off, she shared that she is now at the eight-month mark, as reported by Need To Know.
Jetting off to Shaw’s Cove in Laguna Beach, Mae stayed at a small beach resort to prepare for the birth of her child.
She spent her time “floating” in the pool, falling asleep to the sounds of the ocean and eating granola.
The TV star also finished off her trip by seeing her “main” men, the rock band, Third Eye Blind.
An adorable photo shows Mae lying in a hotel bed with her large bump rising up from the sheets.
Mae, who is pansexual, left fans shocked after initially announcing her pregnancy in May, after meeting up with her Parenthood co-stars, Lauren Graham and Miles Heizer.
The TV star, who was wearing a black t-shirt, showed off her bump but, notoriously private about her personal life, shared little else.
But she’s now opened up about her journey.
She said: “I am huge and achy but happy especially because we got to take a wee ‘babymoon’ god help me to laguna for a couple days and stayed at the loveliest chicest place @hoteljoaquin (which of course I heard about from @kylemilleryoga even though it pains me to give her credit for anything) and ate granola and floated my belly in the warm pool and the lovely salty seawater and fell asleep to the waves crashing and it was rly rly such a nice weekend and we capped it off by seeing my main mens @thirdeyeblind thereby fulfilling my all my teenage dreams,” she said.
Fellow celebrities have come out in droves to congratulate the soon-to-be mum.
“BeeBees having BeeBees!!!!,” joked actor and comedian, Dax Shepard.
“Pregnant Mae is a f**king awesome Mae, I bet,” added Robbie Amell, who worked with the actress on the movie The Duff.
“Mama!!!! Yer gunna be a mama!!!!! Home stretch girl. You got this. Cannot wait to meet your baby muppet!!!!,” added Meredith Salenger, with several pink heart emojis.
Fans also speculated on the future baby’s name.
Many asked if Mae would name the child Katara; the actor who voiced the character in the original Avatar: The Last Airbender.
James said: “Congratulations @mistergarf, do you think you’ll name the baby Katara if it’s a girl?”
Others simply shared their well wishes.
“OMGGG THIS SO CUTE,” said one fan.
“Awww you look plump and adorable! Hope your pregnancy is going well and easy. Wishing you a safe delivery!”, said someone else.
“We adore you and are excited for this journey. You have back up when needed,” added Jeff.
