A man had mixed blessings when he escaped his pricey Ferrari uninjured seconds before it went up in flames.
The driver was participating in a sports event yesterday (1 Jul) morning.
He noticed something was wrong with his 205mph Ferrari 296 GTS – worth £271,000.

The event started in Venice, Italy, and headed towards the Dolomites.
While still in Venice, decided to stop on the busy main road he was on and get out of the supercar.
Seconds later, the flash motor went up in flames, stunning passing road users.
Firefighters arrived on the scene a short while later and used foam to extinguish the blaze.
Despite their intervention, snaps show how the 830bhp, two-seater was damaged beyond repair.
The driver was unharmed, as reported on Need To Know.
The cause of the fire is still a mystery.
However, Fire Brigade technicians are examining the charred car carcass in a bid to solve it.
Clean-up and removal operations were still ongoing on yesterday (1 Jul) evening.
