He fails to connect but his rival then lands a huge punch knocking the Mexican fan to the floor.
It happened on Sunday (30 Jun), as reported Need To Know.
Chelsea midfielder Moisés Caicedo played in the match.
Rotherham and Three Lions supporter Neil Gervis quipped: “I’m sure it will be England fan’s fault.”
Another fan – named Duncan – fumed: “People can’t just watch football anymore can they?”
Mary Smith agreed adding: “Why fight?
“Wouldn’t it be better to watch the game?”
Another said: “This is why no one rates the Copa America.”
Yet Craig Williams added: “That was a great hit.”
Venezuela topped the group and went through to the knockouts with Ecuador who came second.
Mexico came third but were knocked out along with Jamaica who were bottom.
