A top-flight footballer’s model sister was shot dead in front of her four-year-old son as they left a circus.
Martha Paola Salcedo Hernández was in the car park when the horror unfolded on Saturday (29 Jun) evening.
She was hit twice as two men on a motorcycle sprayed her car with bullets before speeding off.

The 29-year-old was taken to hospital but she was pronounced dead on arrival.
Paola’s brother is Carlos Salcedo, who plays for Cruz Azul in Mexico’s top-flight.
The 30-year-old former international centre-back made 47 appearances for Mexico between 2015 and 2021.
One line of investigation is that his sister was the victim of an attempted robbery in Huixquilucan, Mexico.
She was at the circus on a family outing and had gone outside with her son to take a phone call, according to reports.
Paola lived in Guadalajara and was a sports presenter, model and influencer.
She leaves behind a son named Luka from a relationship with footballer Nicolás Vikonis.
The ex-couple shared custody of the four-year-old, who reportedly witnessed the attack.
Vikonis, 40, from Uruguay, is a goalkeeper for Mexico’s second division team Celaya FC.
Neither footballer has publicly commented on Paola’s death, as reported on Need To Know.
However, it’s known that Carlos had differences with his sister and other family members in the past.
Paola was reportedly in a relationship when she was killed, but it is not clear if her partner was present at the time.
The investigation continues.
