An opera singer lost her life in a horror collision with a lorry while overtaking.
Verónica Ana de Jesús Gómez Chappuzeau died instantly when her car hit the heavy vehicle head-on.
The lorry driver survived the crash and was taken to a healthcare facility with minor injuries.

He told the police that the accident happened as the soprano was overtaking another vehicle.
The police are investigating this claim.
The collision was so powerful that Gómez’s body was found yards away from her Suzuki Baleno.
She had bought the car, which was smashed beyond recognition, just three months earlier.
The crash happened on a road in Casablanca, Chile, as the victim was driving home to Santo Domingo from Viña del Mar.
Gómez, 54, gave private singing lessons, as reported on Need To Know.
She had been involved with the San Antonio Cultural Centre, where she directed a choir, for more than 10 years.
The centre wrote in a statement: “Her sudden departure has left us deeply saddened as a team.
“In these moments of great sorrow, we can only extend our most heartfelt condolences to her family, friends, and of course, to the members of the Choral Ensemble formed by teacher Verónica Gómez.
“Art changes lives and is also a way to transcend and endure in the memory of a community.
“Farewell, Verónica.”
Gómez was laid to rest in Providencia on Saturday (6 Jul) – five days after the tragedy.
She is survived by her son Bernardo, her father Fernando, her siblings Francisca and Fernando, and her partner Marcela.
