A tram-riding thug has been caught on camera repeatedly smacking an elderly woman in the face before delivering a running kick to her head.
Footage from in-car CCTV cameras shows no one appearing to help the 84-year-old victim as she was viciously attacked.
The horror reportedly unfolded after she accidentally touched the hot-tempered suspect with her umbrella handle.

Shortly after kicking her in the head, the thug got off the tram and walked away as if nothing had happened.
The bewildered OAP exited the tram two minutes later.
She was later admitted to the ICU with a dangerous brain bleed, as reported on Need To Know.
She told the police: “I felt a pain on the left side of my head near the temple and my head hit the window. I was briefly dazed.”
The assault took place in Halle, Germany, on 30 May.
Following an investigation by a true crime programme on TV, the suspect has now been identified.
Local media are withholding his name but say he’s a 36-year-old local man who’s known to the police.
Police spokesperson Thomas Müller said: “As the surveillance camera footage shows, the elderly woman points to her hearing aids to indicate that she didn’t understand him.
“Due to the delayed kick attack, it can be assumed that serious injuries to the victim were intentionally accepted.
“The accused has been summoned to respond to the allegations.
“Everything else is up to the prosecutor.”
