An OAP superfan was left shocked after receiving surprise tickets to an AC/DC concert.
A video capturing the special experience for ‘Grandma Cath’ has racked up over 3.2 million views.
The 81-year-old from Liverpool was on a first-time visit to London earlier this month (7 July) when she was presented with the special gift, as reported by Need To Know.
The clip shows the woman – who is the grandmother of Joe from the Liverpool band Hushtones – sitting down with her family at Starbucks, while opening a birthday card.
“Surprising Joe’s Nan on her birthday. Wait until the end for her reaction,” the caption reads.
Relatives can be heard prompting the grandmother to read the words inside the card out loud.
“Happy birthday. Let’s have a fab time,” she reads.
“This is your first proper trip to London.
“We hope you have a great time.
“We have a surprise for you.”
Cath tilts her head up at her family, before continuing: “You have to guess it from this rhyme.”
“‘A’ is for ‘amazing time’ and that’s what we will have.
“‘C’ is for whose birthday it is and we hope to have a laugh.
“‘D’ is for ‘devious’ ‘cause that’s what we’ve all been told.
“‘C’ is for the coded message we hope that you have seen.”
The nan hilariously looks up at her family as she struggles to grasp the hidden code.
Relatives can be heard spelling out ‘A, C’ in an attempt to help her.
As she realises what the hidden code means, Cath’s face lights up and she shouts out “AC/DC”
Banging the table in excitement, she appears to be speechless and then begins clapping her hands.
The clip then cuts to the stadium, where Cathy can be seen walking down at the front of the line at Wembley Stadium, London, as AC/DC’s ‘TNT’ plays in the background.
The camera then cuts again to Cathy wearing horns on her head as she makes the devil horns gesture with her hand.
Later, she can be seen standing among the crowd as she dances along to the rock and roll music.
She grins at two members of the crowd crouched on their knees, as they point at the gran in apparent worship as she continues to rock out.
Cath dances with her partner as she dons a white knit cardigan and pumps her fist in the air.
The crowd can be seen going wild as they dance to the music, with the gran appearing to belt out the lyrics.
Fireworks explode overhead as blue and neon lights create a glow over Wembley Stadium.
The footage was shared earlier this week, on Monday (8 July).
“Take your grandma to AC/DC,” said user @?maisdill.
“We did and it was lovely jubbly.
“Happy 81st birthday, Grandma Cath.”
The post has received over 115,000 likes and 18,000 shares, with many sharing their thought on the rock and roll octogenarian.
One person wrote: “Love this, she would have been in her prime days when AC/DC came out. Love to see her still rocking.”
Another viewer said: “OMG. Were they like ‘worshipping’ her? That’s fantastic. I was gonna do something like this for my grannie but with Strictly Come Dancing. She passed before I could. I’m so glad you got to [do] this.”
A third person added: “Not a fan of AC/DC but definitely a fan of Grandma.”
Someone else said: “I have seen my future and it is glorious.”
Grandma Cath is also very proud of her musician grandson, Joe, who is releasing his single ‘Deja Vu’ with Hushtones today (12 July).
The band is headlining Fandisha By Night in Liverpool on 17 August.
