Gypsy-Rose Blanchard has celebrated her 33rd birthday with a romantic dinner – on the same day her murder crime scene photos resurfaced.
The soon-to-be parent has hit headlines after her release from prison last year.
Blanchard served seven years after being convicted for the second-degree murder of Clauddine ‘Dee Dee’ Pitre.

Pitre died after being stabbed 17 times at her home in Springfield, Missouri, in June 2015.
Over the weekend, shocking photos of the crime scene resurfaced on social media, leaving fans with mixed reactions, reports Need To Know.
But the star of Gypsy Rose: Life After Lockup appeared unfazed by the image release – instead focusing on the future.
She celebrated her birthday with boyfriend Ken Urker on 27 July 2024.
In a snap that has over 73,000 likes on Instagram, the pair smile sweetly next to each other, with the caption: “Birthday dinner”.
Another clip shows the star blowing out a candle and making a wish, as Ken says: “Happy Birthday Gyps”.
And for a final birthday treat, over 38,000 people liked a picture of the pair smiling in the cinema after watching the new Deadpool & Wolverine film.
Blanchard killed her mum after being made to believe she had multiple illnesses including leukemia, asthma and muscular dystrophy.
The crime scene photos were released to the public years ago but with the release of the TV show in June, they have since re-appeared.
Users have flocked to X (formerly Twitter) to share their thoughts.
“I thought it was a joke but the crime scene photos of Claudinnea/dee dee really dropped on gypsy rose’s birthday yesterday,” said Dana.
One person added: “Gypsy Rose’s crime scene pictures trending on her birthday is a different kind of sick.”
“Not these new crime scene photos getting released on Gypsy Rose’s Birthday…who set that up,” Janelle commented.
Blanchard, who is pregnant, is due to give birth to her little one in January 2025.
