A rapper has been slammed for faking his own gruesome death.
Reports circulated that South Korean music star Jeong Jun-hyeok – better known as Ch1tkey – had fallen five storeys from a building on Monday (29 Jul).
The 22-year-old was live-streaming from a rooftop when he appeared to slip and tumbled over the edge.

He was reportedly taken to a hospital in the South Korean capital Seoul, where it was claimed he passed away of cardiac arrest.
A woman, presumed to be the rapper’s girlfriend, posted on social media at the time: “I believe you’ll live freely in the world you dreamed of.
“You always said you’d go higher, you had so many dreams, ambitions, and curiosity.
“Let’s meet in our dreams.”
She added, “Thank you for loving me every day, I will live remembering you.”
On Tuesday (30 Jul), a police spokesperson said: “There was no report of an incident or accident involving Jeong Jun-hyeok – Ch1tkey – near Sangbong-dong, Seoul, on 29 July.”
Later the same day, Ch1tkey apparently came clean on Instagram, as reported by Need To Know.
He shared an excerpt from his new song Back with the caption: “Nice to meet you haha.”
He said: “Sorry to the rappers on Show Me the Money and all the TV rappers, I’ll take it from here.
The woman who apparently posed as his partner said: “Today is resurrection day, it’s a happy day.
“Everyone enjoy.”
Ch1tkey was widely slammed for reportedly faking his death to promote his new song and gain more followers.
One local fumed: “Is this the level of rappers?
“How much money do you have to make to drag people into this pathetic aggro and do such pitiful things?”
Another person said: “Wow, I’m glad to see you Ch1tkey, who miraculously came back alive.”
“Even Jesus didn’t rise again this quickly,” joked someone else.
Pepe asked: “Is this not funny and just high school level humour?”
Tyranno commented: “I knew this would happen.”
