A video has captured the horrific moment a train collided with a car at a level crossing.
In the dramatic footage, the train’s horn sounds and the driver can be heard shouting “Jesus” as a black BMW comes into view.
The car is driven straight into the path of the oncoming freight train.

The driver of the vehicle attempts to swerve but to no avail, as the vehicles collide.
The BMW is pushed off the tracks, reports Need To Know.
Miraculously, the lucky motorist survived the crash.
The shocking clip was filmed at a level crossing in Wellington, New Zealand.
For Rail Safety Week 2024, KiwiRail reports that 170 lives have been lost in train collisions over the last decade.
They added that, in the past year, there have been 19 collisions and 173 near misses at level crossings.
“Luckily, in this case, the accident was not fatal,” said KiwiRail chief asset development officer, David Gordon.
“But even close calls at level crossings can take a huge toll on train drivers and those who narrowly avoid death.
“Disappointingly, the latest figures show that 95% of collisions and 73% of near misses were at crossings that already have flashing lights and bells or barrier arms installed.
“This emphasises how important an individual’s behaviour is when it comes to safety around railway tracks.”
