Three people died when the plane they were on crashed into a field and burst into flames.
Horror CCTV footage shows three horses in an enclosure.
In the background, a plane suddenly drops vertically from the sky, spinning slowly around its axis.
As it hits the ground, it bursts into a huge fireball, causing the horses to start galloping around in a panic.
Thick, black smoke can be seen rising into the air from the burning wreckage.
The twin-engine plane crashed on a farm in Birigui, north west of São Paulo, Brazil, on Saturday (3 Aug) afternoon.
A local man told the police he’d seen the pilot making a desperate attempt to avoid crashing.
The man, who chose to remain anonymous, was on a road about 800metes from the crash site when he saw the plane flying low.
The pilot then made “a manoeuvre to one side and then upwards, as if trying to climb away”.
The police say the plane – bound for Socorro – had earlier undergone maintenance at the Birigui Aeroclub.
Three people died in the crash and their charred remains were taken to Araçatuba for identification.
The plane that crashed was a six-seater Beechcraft 95-A55 Baron made in 1961.

It was registered with Brazil’s National Civil Aviation Agency, as reported on Need To Know.
Seripa – Brazil’s Regional Air Accident Investigation and Prevention Service – is investigating the incident.
