A 33-year-old man died suddenly from a heart attack on a flight in front of his pregnant wife.
The couple were on their way to tell his mum she was going to be a grandmother.
Panic set in about an hour into the journey when Mihai, whose surname has not been reported, suddenly passed out.

The passengers next to him saw his eyes roll back. They shook him, but he failed to react.
The cabin crew gave him first aid and CPR as the pilots made an emergency landing at the closest airport to Paris, France, from where the plane had taken off.

As soon as they touched down at Frankfurt Airport, Germany, medics took him to the nearest hospital.
But they were unable to save his life.
The rest of the passengers were flown back to Paris.
They finally landed in Cluj-Napoca, Romania, five hours after their scheduled arrival time on Tuesday (6 Aug).

Mihai and his wife, Aniela, were on their way to Negrești-Oaș to see their loved ones and tell them the big news.
The couple lived in Paris and hadn’t been to Romania in four years.
The victim’s cousin, not named, told local media: “She is pregnant and really wanted to surprise Mișu’s mother with the news that they were going to have a baby.”
Mihai was from Romania but had moved abroad to work when he was 18.

He and Aniela were married but hadn’t had a wedding party and were finally planning on throwing one.
He had no known underlying conditions, as reported by Need To Know.
It was reported on Tuesday that his body would be delivered to Romania in the following days.
Aniela posted on social media: “You were a loving, attentive, and protective husband.
“And I already know you would have been the best, most responsible, and funniest dad in the world.”
